I cant believe that 2008 is almost over. Many great things happened for me & my family this year. I found something that fulfills me {photography} I've poured myself into it this past year and I've grown. Hopefully 2009 will hold more growth for me. My hubby got an awesome job, closer to home with no tax season! How great is that? Our third blessing (our surprise of 2008) was created and is on its way. I've been so blessed.
My goals for 2009~ Grow closer to God, without him I'm nothing. Increase my patience with my children, they are my world. Have a healthy delivery & baby. Finally get this house organized and cleaned out! YARD SALE!! LOL Grow more in my photography & finally build a website. Start running again after the baby is born, and get off all baby weight (that may remain).
I also pray for new beginnings for anyone reading this who needs one (wink). May 2009 bless you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I decided to post a few of my favs from 2008. Enjoy! I LUV comments, so please leave some!

Poll time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, I've now entered my 5th month of pregnancy! I had my checkup today & the heartbeat was 150. My ultrasound is Jan 16th & I thought it would be fun to take a poll: How many think its a girl? How many think its a boy? Total weight gain so far, 1 lb.
Poll is located on the right side under the about me section :)
I'll be posting back on the 16th so watch out for the results!!!!!

The photographers prayer
Saw this on a fellow photographers blog: and I loved the words to this.
Dear Lord, as I bring my subject into focus & prepare to make each portrait, never let me forget that I'm creating treasures for a family, a keepsake for loved ones. Make me sensitive to the qualities and virtues of others, that I may draw out into the light the beautiful radiant belongings of their hearts.
Help me to be an artist, collecting the beauty of every soul, the glow of youth, the gentleness, the laughter or tears of each life that is precious in Thy sight. Deeper than a means of livelihood, give me the perspective to see my photographer's art as a service to others, making life richer and more memorable.
And, dear Lord, between the lights and shadows, the ups and downs and the rolling years, keep me from getting out of focus or off center, so that my life and work may be framed with dignity and colored with contentment. amen.
